What is a CTSNet Surgeon Home Page and how do I get one?
All members and associate members of CTSNet have a home page on CTSNet to use to maintain their member profiles. A CTSNet member home page consists of information you or your organization have provided to CTSNet. If you are registered for CTSNet, you are given access to tools that allow you to update your contact information, clinical background, and areas of interest. Some information on your CTSNet member home page is automatically added, such as the CTSNet participating organizations you belong to and the Committees on which you serve. This information is provided by your organizations.
How do I view member home pages?
To view a surgeon's home page, go to the Surgeons link on CTSNet and type the last name (surname) of the surgeon whose home page you want to view. You may also search for surgeons by country and US State.
Similarly, if you want to view an Associate Member’s page, go to the Associates link on CTSNet and type the last name (surname) of the associate whose member home page you want to view. Then click on the Search button. You also may search for Associates by country, US state, and profession. Associates include surgeons or physicians other than cardiothoracic surgeons, allied health professionals and other individuals who participate in the field of cardiothoracic surgery.
How can I update my CTSNet home page?
Because there are more than 38,000 surgeons and allied health professionals registered for CTSNet, we ask that you maintain the information on your own member home page.
To update your information on your member home page, go to Update Profile in the banner area on CTSNet and follow the instructions. You will need your CTSNet User ID and password to access the Update Profile tools.
How can I put my photo on my home page?
Do one of the following to include a photograph on your home page:
- Go to Update Profile in the banner area on CTSNet and use the Update Your Homepage Photo tool to upload, delete or update your CTSNet home page photo.
- Send a "real" wallet-sized photo or larger (either black and white or color) to CTSNet.
- Attach a photograph in electronic format (jpg or gif only) to an email message addressed to support@ctsnet.org.
- Have your photo taken at a major meeting. CTSNet takes member home page photographs at the AATS, EACTS, and STS annual meetings, and at some other national and international meetings.
